National Ice Cream Sandwich Day Recipes

I scream You scream We all SCREAM for ICE CREAM! Who can resist ice cream? Not many people can resist it during these HOT SUMMER months. Today is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day and I thought that we should share it together, drooling over a few recipes.

The first one is a very easy and tasty waffle recipe from Friendship Bread Kitchen. I make these waffles and we all LOVE them. The photo is mine! Doesn't it make you want to eat one? So to make the recipe, just make these waffles or use your own favorite waffle recipe and scoop on some ice cream. We added in some strawberry jam to our vanilla ice cream. Soooo good and a super easy treat. Make waffles for breakfast and then use the extra for an afternoon or after dinner treat.
