Crock Pot Cranberry BBQ Chicken
Here is one of those crock pot meals that turned out even better than I had imagined.
Cranberry BBQ Chicken
Ingredients
6 chicken breast
2 cups cranberries
1 large onion, sliced
2 cups wine (I used cranberry)
1 bottle BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's)
Directions
Add everything except BBQ sauce to crock pot. Cook on high 3 hours (or low for 5-6 hours) and then pull out chicken and shred it. Put back into crock pot and add BBQ sauce. Cook for 1 more hour.
Kitchen Notes
We shred it to eat as BBQ sandwiches and nachos. You don't have to shred the chicken. Serve with sides of your choice.

I have so many cranberry recipes on my blog that I'm sure I'm starting to irritate my readers. But I pinned this to try anyway!! :)

What a great crock pot idea! I bet this would work for a pork loin too. I am trying it soon....maybe tomorrow.
